Wohaj (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and services. By using Wohaj, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
Wohaj is a Qatar-based student achievement and opportunity network. We provide a platform where students can build public proof-of-work profiles and connect with companies, startups, and educational institutions.
This policy applies to all users of the Wohaj platform, including students, company representatives, and administrators.
When you create an account, we collect the information provided through your sign-in method. This may include your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth, or your email address when signing in with a magic link.
As a student, you may voluntarily provide additional information to build your public profile, including your full name, university, major, academic year, biography, skills, links to external profiles (e.g. GitHub, portfolio), and other details you choose to share. You control what appears on your public profile.
As a company or organization representative, you may provide information about your organization including company name, type, website, description, and contact information. This forms your public-facing company profile and is visible to students and other platform users.
Content you publish on Wohaj—including posts, achievements, comments, reactions, and opportunity applications—is stored and displayed according to your chosen visibility settings. Public posts and profile information may be visible to other registered users of the platform.
We may collect non-personally identifiable information about how you interact with the platform, such as pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform. This helps us improve the Wohaj experience. We do not sell this data to third parties.

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our infrastructure partners (including Supabase, our database and authentication provider). We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can review and update your profile information at any time through your Wohaj account settings. You may also delete individual posts, achievements, and other content you have published.
If you wish to delete your entire account and associated data, please contact us at the email below. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain information.
Wohaj is designed for university students and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify users through the platform or via email for material changes. Continued use of Wohaj after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
